User rights and user groups rights

In the Issue Tracking System (ITS) users inherit their User Rights from the User Rights of the User Groups they belong into. When user is assigned user roles (groups) using the Add New User or User Profile Update pages, he/she inherits all the rights from the user groups he/she belongs into.

User Groups

Users of the Issue Tracking System can belong to one or more of following groups :

  • Issue Tracking System Administrators
  • Product Managers
  • Product Developers
  • Product Testers
  • Product Supports
  • Product End-Users

These groups are matching exactly user groups described in the Users Of the Issue Tracking System document. Please, take a look at that document for more information about user groups.
